Mr. Frederick Antwi
Welcome from the Head Principal
St Aquinas College provides high quality Grade 8 -12 academic and extra-curricular programme for people from all backgrounds in South Africa. Our High school (Gr 8 -12) was founded in 2010. We believe in Education as a life-long process, in developing a love of learning and in the attainment of excellence. We currently have a total of 301 learners enrolled from Grade 8 – 12.
The school offers the National Curriculum prescribed by the NQF and implements it according to the CAPS syllabus. Our final year learners write the National Grade 12 exam. The school is registered with the Gauteng Department of Education(GDE) and in the process of acquiring Umalusi Accreditation. The entire curriculum is implemented by means of a “Management Plan” which includes quality management, curriculum management, extra-curricular management and internal and external communication. A complete set of internal policies guide these operations and the management plan includes the constant review of all the operations as well as a system of feedback into the planning of the following year. This system is followed stringently, is never complete and is reviewed regularly. Only the Board of Directors of St Aquinas College has the right to make changes to the system and policies.
St Aquinas College provides Quality Education and Character Development to all its stakeholders in order to realise their full potential. We provide holistic teaching and learning that is based on Christian principals and develops resilience and purposeful living.

This is achieved by providing quality education in cooperation with family and community.
Education at St Aquinas College is focused on the development of students for a brighter future and a commitment to social justice and a concern for the world at large. We prepare our students for a mission that extends beyond mere education into the arena of both public and private service.
Our academic programme is designed to enable that:
- Learners are exposed to high-quality educational materials and instruction in the subjects needed.
- Educators prepare them for the final exams by concentrating on:
- Past paper methodologies;
- Problematic sections that learners historically struggle with;
- Sections which carry a high mark value in the final paper. We offer educational and personal support material Learner Diary which helps learners on How to set goals (long term and short term).
